AFIFA operates in the former Western Region, which now constitutes: Kakamega, Vihiga, Busia, and Vihiga counties. Each county is headed by a county coordinator. All the current staff of AFIFA are serving on voluntary terms, AFIFA hopes to be stable to be able to hire them on employment terms given the great work they do at ensuring AFIFA goals and objectives are achieved. On this occasion, AFIFA was meeting all the volunteer secretariat at Bukura Agricultural Training Center in Kakamega County Kenya, for an induction exercise.
